Hello, my name is Tyler! Yes, sadly my name is not Throck Gildersleeve, but that's how life goes I guess. Been using this pseudonym all over, so may as well keep it up here. Anyway, I am an amateur writer/blogger hoping to break out into the fast-paced world of... blogging and writing. While I have had a little experience, I felt starting off anew with all my work under the Medium umbrella would be better for my productivity and work pace.
One of my current projects is a series of short stories surrounding a character of unique origins, Bizzard the Wizard. This Harry Potter spoof of sorts will have a new adventure every few weeks in a short story format. More information will be available in a post titled "The Bizzard the Wizard project". Please check it out, as it contains details about why I am writing these stories in particular, and describes how I envision a larger writing community surrounding it than just myself.
Next, I have the continuation of a Blog I started in 2023 called Small Creator Corner. It involves me looking at someone who posts their creations regularly (art, music, videos, etc.) and talk about them. Usually it is people who have little to no following, but it generally involves anyone and everyone who I feel deserve more views than what they get currently. My old blog posts have been republished here, as those I covered before still deserve to have their work put in the spotlight even though I abandoned the old page.
As I grow and develop, I will have various writing projects published here. I will likely branch out and try new and different things, so hopefully you are willing to come along for the ride. I also started hosting a writing/editing stream on Twitch to talk with friends while I go through my writing, which despite how it sounds has made the process of getting things ready to publish go way smoother and more enjoyable.
